Note: Survey will be open through January 2008
The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is updating its Statewide Long-Range Transportation Plan, known as the Maryland Transportation Plan (MTP). What are your thoughts about the future of Maryland’s Statewide transportation system?
We encourage you to take 10 minutes to complete this survey. The answers you provide below will be used to shape the State’s 20-year vision for transportation in Maryland.
[To be clear, I am not asking anyone to lie but if you bike get that info to MDOT!]

12. If you look ahead 20 years, what are the three most important changes you would like to see in Maryland’s transportation system?
1) Kids being able to ride their bikes to school, friends and the store
2) People out in the streets of their communities talking, playing, enjoying the outdoors and getting exercise.
13. Which statements below (select two) most closely match what you feel a "balanced transportation system" means:
Allocating funds for highways and other modes of travel based on percentage of accidents.
(IMHO Accidents of all types do the most harm to society. Even fender benders scare all but the big oversized SUVs off the road.)
