Illegal Bike Maneuver?
Today, 12/28/2005, I was stopped by a state patrol officer for performing this maneuver:
For 2 years, until they started doing roadwork in the area, I’ve been riding this section to get to Dundalk from Essex. Now, I’m told that I was on I-695 for a portion of it, and of course, as we all know, peds and bikes are prohibited.
I plead ignorance! I know–no excuse.
But, there’s got to be a better way other than having to cut through Eastpoint Mall!

It seems like an incomplete thought, but what are they getting at?

The highlight is an SUV who refuses to give up an inch of road for a cyclist even though there are no oncoming cars.
