Those who operate heavy equipment
(i.e., most motor vehicles) within the public ways pose an extraordinary danger
to the person and property of others. Our government already keeps a watch on
such people. If you feel that the government should keep a closer watch, please
feel free to advocate for that.
Instead of abandoning our own
rights of way to those people who are not worthy of the public’s trust to
operate heavy vehicles safely, we should push our government to put the
privilege of operating such extraordinarily dangerous equipment beyond their
reach.
