A July 29, 2005 Baltimore Sun article details a partnership between Friends
of Anne Arundel County and the Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks
Department to develop “Planet Walk.” The large-scale public art installation
will be complete in 2007. But for now, fans of art and trails can see the sun
and Pluto – which towers 20 feet above the surface of the smooth, paved trail.
