It’s very interesting to me in talking with the legislature and what their view of the law is and then talk to the MVA (simplistic summaries of laws), Maryland Highway Safety Office (safety guidance roughly based on law), Police (based on MVA and MHSO), Lawyers (based on a diced up version of law, police understanding and a mishmash of bizarre rulings around the country.)
    I have yet to talk with a judge but every group has a different framework and logic in which they deal with and it amazes me how detached the end process is from where it all begins. It’s like a game of telephone, where one person says something to another and they repeat it to another and so on and in a short while you have nothing like the original.
