INTRODUCTIONS:
Mr. Whitaker welcomed everyone to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Group
(BPAG). Introductions followed.
APPROVAL
OF JANUARY 2005 MINUTES: Minutes
were approved with one change revision.
APPROVAL
OF BPAG BY-LAWS: The
Group approved the By-laws contingent on one more change: the BMC weather policy
will be added.
UPDATES
FROM STATE AND LOCAL JURISDICTIONS: Ms.
Bobbi Moser detailed recent efforts in Carroll
County
to follow up on the Walkable Communities Workshop presented in
Westminster
in March. Ms. Moser explained the event was successful, with 50+ people in
attendance. Even the weather, she said, was perfect. Ms. Moser also shared
details of the work to represent bike and ped in the Comprehensive Plan, for
which the process is now underway.
Ms.
Janet Gleisner detailed the upcoming Bike-to-Work Day event in Bel Air. Event
