This is an informative class to learn the basics of bike repair such as how to lube a chain, fix a flat, and make minor adjustments. In addition, the clinic will properly explain the use of the front wheel quick release mechanism for tension and safety. A great lead-in class to other advanced bike maintenance classes.

PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD THURSDAY, JULY 20

The Baltimore County Planning Board is holding a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on
Thursday, July 20, 2006, in Room 407, County Courts Building, 401 Bosley Avenue,
Towson. The Eastern County Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plan will be one of the

Bicyclist, 58, Dies in Nighttime Hit-and-Run

A bicyclist was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in Elkridge, Howard County police said. They identified the victim as David Allen Overmiller, 58, of the 8200 block of Washington Boulevard in Jessup. The accident took place about 9:40 p.m. on Route 1 near Troy Hill Drive when a southbound vehicle struck Overmiller, who was also riding south, police said.

or pilot bicycle network within their Eastern Baltimore County
Pedestrian and Bicycle

sidepath is currently seeking funding through
bond bills HB
1117 &
SB
671 with
an equal match from the County. So stay tuned for how you can support
this
project.
