The Mayor’s Bicycle Advisory Committee will meet at 6PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Park HQ 2600 Madison Ave, across from Druid Hill Park.
Agenda will include:
Bike Ped Coordinator turnover
Status of bike projects
CIP bike budget
Jones Falls/Gwynns Falls Trails
other stuff
With great fanfare the city opened the Inner Harbor Promenade to cycling in the morning. And with no fanfare some mysterious entity has put up

With sadness, I will be leaving my post as DOT first Bike Coordinator the first week of Jan. It has been a pleasure working with you and all the great cyclists on the MBAC. I have really enjoyed helping to install the over 70 bike racks, introducing Sunday Streets to DOT and interviewing consultants for the next phase of the BMP.
Starting at San Francisco 4/28 and ending Boston 7/27. It will be passing thru Baltimore on Wednesday 7/16. Riders are wanted to take part in some or all portions of the route.
I will probably join them in route from Pittsburg and on thru to Philadelphia, all are welcome to join in.

Thank you for sharing with me the fact that your children enjoy the bike trails. Positive sentiments like these are wonderful to hear, and I am delighted to have so many fellow cycling enthusiasts in Baltimore .
