\n Yes, the new Bicycle Map has arrived. I picked up
\na copy at the Monkton NCR Station, open Wed – Sunday.
\nThis new comprehensive map provides guidance for long
\ndistance cyclists travelling in Md; utilizing main
\nroads with shoulders (e.g. – Route 140 from
\nWestminster to Emmitsburg), bike trails like the NCR,
\nand local roads like Butler Road – RT 128 – and Falls
\nRd – RT 25. Although bicycle connoisseurs familiar
\nwith the local area may find more interesting, less
\ntravelled roads; this map provides a practical and
\ncontinuous route – except for the Bay Bridge – for
\ncycling through Md.\n<\/p>\n
\n This comprehensive bike map further strengthens
\nour case in requesting State Highway to maintain and
\nimprove the routes listed on the map. Last, but not
\nleast, the State has removed from its prohibited
\nhighways the non Freeway portion (north of Route 26)
\nof divided Route 15 in Frederick County and most of
