\nHearing Scheduled (March 6, 2007 at 1 PM)

The hearing for the Right-of-Way Penalties bill is scheduled for
\n1 PM on March 6, 2007. It will be held in the Environmental
\nMatters Committee Hearing Room of the House of Delegates
\nBuilding in Annapolis.<\/p>\n

We encourage everyone who is able to attend to be there to show support for
\nthis bill. Many of the committee members are our friends and support our
\ngoals. We need to be polite and respectful while attending the hearing and
\nlend our support to our friends on the committee and persuade all committee
\nmembers to vote for HB 827.<\/p>\n


\nThe House of Delegates building is located at:
\n84 College Ave.
\nAnnapolis, MD 21401<\/p>\n

Directions From Washington:
\nTake the Beltway (I-495) to Route 50 East. Follow the signs to Annapolis.
\nTake the Rowe Boulevard\/Annapolis exit and bear right onto Rowe Boulevard
\n(South)…<\/p>\n

Directions From Baltimore:
\nTake the Beltway (I-695) to Route I-97 South at Beltway Exit 4. Follow the
\nsigns to Annapolis. (Route I-97 merges with Route 50 East.) Take the Rowe
\nBoulevard\/Annapolis exit and bear right onto Rowe Boulevard (South)….<\/p>\n

Parking
\n…Go to the second light at Rowe Boulevard and Taylor Avenue and turn right
\non Taylor Avenue towards the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. The second
\ndriveway is the entrance to the stadium parking lot. Paid parking is
\navailable on the stadium parking lot at a cost of $6 (subject to change) per
\nday.<\/p>\n

There are other places to park in Annapolis, but the garages can fill up
\nfast on hearing days.<\/p>\n

Take the stadium shuttle to the stop directly across the street from the
\nPost Office. Walk in front of the Post Office; pass the Senate Office
\nBuilding with an iron fence. Cross the street and enter the House Office
\nBuilding. You will need photo ID to enter. There are metal detectors at
\nthe doors, so to expedite your entry leave pocket knives and other items at
\nhome or in your car.<\/p>\n

Locate the Environmental Matters Committee Hearing Room. It is in the long
\nhallway near the elevators.<\/p>\n
