\nVindicated! The other day, a group of juveniles driving in a white Jeep
\nCherokee threw a large rock at me, while I was riding near Northern High in
\nOwings. They also almost ran me off the road. The rock struck my elbow
\n(hard!) and almost caused me to crash…I was going about 20mph. I managed
\nto get the tag number and before my bubble-head brain forgot it, I grabbed
\nmy cell phone and entered it in as a phone number to help me remember amidst
\nmy angry haze.\n<\/p>\n

\nWhen I returned home, I called the Sheriff’s office to report the
\nincident…but I really did not have much faith that anything would come of
\nit. I just figured they’d say something like…” thank you, we will keep an
\neye out for any further incidents with a vehicle of that description”. But
\nno …they actually sent an officer to my home, and he was very grateful and
\ntook a full report even though there was no obvious damage to my bike or
\nmyself. He said they would run the tag, go to the residence and somehow get
\nthe info they needed to follow through.\n<\/p>\n

\nI got a call later that day saying they had found the individual (a
\n17-year-old) and were charging him!\n<\/p>\n

\nSo if something similar happens to you and you manage to get the tag #…go
\nahead and follow through on it!
