What is wrong with these<br \/>\npeople is a clear example of what is wrong with much of America.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nFirst of all, why can&#8217;t Biff and Muffy just walk the few blocks<br \/>\nhome?  Howard Co. isn&#8217;t full of wild animals or dirtballs and nare<br \/>\ndo well&#8217;s out in the county hanging out preying on children.<br \/>\nSecond, if they need to meet them after school, why can&#8217;t these<br \/>\nlittle bips just walk (oh the horror) out to greet them.  It makes<br \/>\nme sick and I stare at them in disbelief.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, don&#8217;t be like our little Mommies in their SUV guzzler&#8217;s,<br \/>\nwhen you get a chance, get on your bike and get in some kind of<br \/>\nwinter ride! <em>-SL<\/em><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>B&#8217;lieve I can top that: on my regular commute in to work, for a couple<br \/>\nof years, there was a woman who would drive her kid TO THE END OF THE<br \/>\nDRIVEWAY to wait for the school bus.  I shudder in horror&#8230; <em>-SH<\/em><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>OK, I&#8217;m not sure if this tops that one but it could be very close.<br \/>\nOn Folly Quarter, headed from Homwood &amp; Sheppard circle towards Old<br \/>\nFred, just past Carroll Mill, at the top of that climb on the left<br \/>\nis a very &#8220;American&#8221; looking woman (how else can I say weight<br \/>\nchallenged) that pulled in her driveway, which is about three car<br \/>\nlengths long.  She stopped her Jeep, turned it off, got out, walked<br \/>\nbehind it, got her mail, got back in, STARTED THE CAR AGAIN, and<br \/>\ndrove two car lengths to park.
