Since El Tour de Tucson is on Saturday, I think it\u2019s a good time for this discussion.<\/p>\n<p>To state the most important point: All road users \u2014 motorists, cyclists, pedestrians \u2014 must comply with the law, and use the road safely.<br \/>\n&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Many motorists seem to believe (I may be incorrect in saying this) that cyclists\u2019 use of the road is not as important as motorists\u2019 use. But, the law doesn\u2019t provide that any road user\u2019s reason for being on the road is more important than others\u2019, unless it\u2019s a police car, fire truck or ambulance responding to an emergency.
