{"id":244257680,"date":"2012-09-28T01:21:20","date_gmt":"2012-09-28T01:21:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.baltimorespokes.org\/?p=244257680"},"modified":"2012-09-28T01:21:20","modified_gmt":"2012-09-28T01:21:20","slug":"baltimore-county-pedestrian-and-bicycle-access-plan-newsletter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.baltimorespokes.org\/?p=244257680","title":{"rendered":"Baltimore County Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plan Newsletter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Baltimore County Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plan Newsletter<br \/>\nSeptember 25, 2012<br \/>\n__________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>COUNCIL HEARING ON WESTERN PLAN SCHEDULED<br \/>\n__________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>The Baltimore County County Council has scheduled a public hearing on the Western Baltimore County Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plan:<\/p>\n<p>Monday, October 15, 2012 following the Council meeting which begins at 6 p.m. (Speaker registration is held between 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.)<br \/>\nCounty Council Hearing Chamber, Second Floor<br \/>\nHistoric Courthouse<br \/>\n400 Washington Avenue<br \/>\nTowson, MD 21204<\/p>\n<p>If adopted by the County Council, the plan will become an amendment to the County master plan.  Expressions of support for the plan will aid in the plan&#8217;s adoption and future implementation. Please attend the public hearing to voice your opinion.<\/p>\n<p>The Western Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plan was reviewed and approved by the Planning Board on April 19, 2012.  It can be viewed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baltimorecountymd.gov\/westbikeped\">https:\/\/www.baltimorecountymd.gov\/westbikeped<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The recommendations for bicycle improvements can also be viewed on an interactive map at <a href=\"https:\/\/myneighborhood.baltimorecountymd.gov\">https:\/\/myneighborhood.baltimorecountymd.gov<\/a> by selecting the Bicycle Facilities tab to the right.  The map depicts the recommendations of both the Eastern and Western Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Plans.
