OK, maybe not. But Baltimore Ravens\u2019 linebacker Ray Lewis admitted he\u2019s fallen in love with cycling, a sport he\u2019s incorporated into his offseason training program. While away from football during the lengthy labor dispute, Lewis rode his bike to better his endurance.<\/p>\n
On the Ravens\u2019 first day of training camp Thursday, Lewis looked conditioned and didn\u2019t miss a beat.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think cycling is one of the greatest sports in the world,\u201d Lewis said. \u201cThe respect of what kind of cardio shape that gets you in, with low impact. That\u2019s the key to it, to really train as hard as you can, to get your heart rate as high as you can get it and then come back and do it the next day, without that pounding.
