This \u201cclimate conference on<br \/>\nwheels\u201d and fully-supported adventure raises funds for a collection of<br \/>\nnine hardworking non-profits including <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/350.org\/\">350.org<\/a>,<br \/>\n Washington Area Bicyclist Coalition, Green America, Rails-to-Trails<br \/>\nConservancy, and 1Sky. Brita Climate Ride is the first multi-day,<br \/>\nmulti-city charitable bicycle ride to address climate change and<br \/>\nrenewable energy issues.&nbsp; The event also endeavors to showcase the<br \/>\nbicycle as the ultimate carbon-free machine and a viable form of<br \/>\ntransportation. Climate Ride will also return to California on October<br \/>\n2-6, 2011. This gorgeous 5-day, 320-mile ride along California&#8217;s<br \/>\nspectacular coast begins in the Redwood Empire near Eureka and finishes<br \/>\nacross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco.
