{"id":164496749,"date":"2010-03-19T21:32:29","date_gmt":"2010-03-19T21:32:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.baltimorespokes.org\/?p=164496749"},"modified":"2010-03-19T21:32:29","modified_gmt":"2010-03-19T21:32:29","slug":"burley-travoy-a-new-generation-of-trailers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.baltimorespokes.org\/?p=164496749","title":{"rendered":"Burley Travoy \u2013 A New Generation of Trailers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>by Bike Shop Girl<\/p>\n<p>While at Frostbike a few weeks back we were introduced to the<strong> <\/strong><strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/burleytrailers\/sets\/72157623370348531\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Burley Travoy<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp; A new cargo trailer from the folks at Burley.&nbsp; This trailer is much different than any trailer you may have seen so make sure to click through all the photos.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4671 noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/commutebybike.com\/2010\/03\/19\/burley-travoy-a-new-generation-of-trailers\/4382066915_2ac685ebb2_o\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Burley Travoy CBB\" src=\"https:\/\/commutebybike.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/4382066915_2ac685ebb2_o-500x375.jpg\" alt=\"Burley Travoy CBB\" height=\"375\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The trailer is more all than wide, and utilizes different types of bags to hang off of the main structure.&nbsp; It then attaches to your bike much like a tow behind bicycle would, at the seatpost.<\/p>\n<p>The advantages of this trailer over say the<strong> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.burley.com\/products\/adventure\/nomad.cfm\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Burley Nomad<\/a> <\/strong>are two fold.&nbsp;&nbsp; First, this trailer can collapse down pretty flat, and easy to carry into the office or 3rd floor flat.
