\u201cIt was a productive meeting,\u201d said Penny Troutner, owner of Light Street Cycles in Federal Hill and a cycling enthusiast at Loch Raven.<\/p>\n
Troutner and other representatives of the biking community met with Mayor Sheila Dixon and other officials Dec. 14 and vowed to work toward revamping a 1998 agreement on trail usage \u2014 which bikers say only recently has been enforced.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe problem is \u2026 that there is a sudden enforcement of a policy from 10 years ago,\u201d said Jim Miller, of Anneslie, noting that the city has been more insistent in recent weeks that bikers stick to \u201ctwo-track\u201d fire roads \u2014 those trails large enough for four-wheel vehicles.
