Just a friendly reminder about what to do if you are in a crash:
\nDon\u2019t move unless you\u2019re sure you won\u2019t hurt yourself more.
\nDon\u2019t get mad. Keep a level head.
\nDon\u2019t ride away or shake off what seems like a minor injury\u2014you might find later that it\u2019s worse than you thought.
\nGET HELP Call 911. Get medical help if needed.
\nGET WITNESSES Write down names and phone numbers of anyone that witnessed the crash
\nGET EVIDENCE Get information from every vehicle:
\n * License plate number, make of car
\n * Driver\u2019s license number
\n * Insurance company name and policy number ((should match driver name)
\n * Driver name, address, phone number
\nGET THE POLICE REPORT # from the police on the scene and get a copy of from the district station in which the crash occurred.
\nAFTER THE CRASH
\nWrite down how the crash happened while it\u2019s fresh in your memory.
\nKeep (or photograph) any damaged clothes or equipment. Photograph any injuries you sustained. Document any lost wages or time off.
