I pulled the bike up to an<br \/>\noutside stair railing that seemed like the best available option for<br \/>\nlocking up when one of the waitresses came out and urged me to bring<br \/>\nthe bike into the restaurant.   She explained that she rides her bike<br \/>\neverywhere and often has trouble finding a safe place to lock it up.<br \/>\nShe showed me a side room off the main dining area where I could<br \/>\nleave my bike while eating.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nAfter dinner, I tracked down the manager and told him how much I<br \/>\nappreciated the bike-friendly attitude.
